The songs are the first ones in a long time for which the artist wrote the lyrics herself. While based on the game of the same name, the anime series takes a leap from the game's storyline and explores whole new stories.
奥井雅美の21世紀第1弾シングルは、WOWOWアニメーション「テイルズ オブ エターニア」のオープニング&エンディングシングル。久しぶりに本人が作詞・作曲を手掛ける。「テイルズ オブ エターニア」はゲームソフトを原作にアニメ化するもので、ゲーム内には無かった新ストーリーが展開され、まっくんの楽曲ともマッチすること間違いなし。
