現代版ジャズロック・ピアノトリオfox capture plan約1年ぶり7枚目のオリジナル・フル・アルバム。満席で終えたBLUE NOTE TOKYO 2デイズ他名阪を回ったツアーをイメージして作曲された「Greatest Blue」はジャズの歴史の中で曲名やアルバム名などにもよく用いられている色"BLUE"と、ジャズ界の"偉大"な先人達へのリスペクトを最大級の"GREATEST"とし、その2つの言葉を合わせて名付けられたモダン・ジャズ的アプローチ。また、先日最終回を迎えた長澤まさみ主演の月9ドラマ「コンフィデンスマンJP」のメイン・テーマ曲のセルフ・カヴァーや、2007年のR&B大ヒットNe-Yo (ニーヨ)の「Because Of You」といったカヴァー曲をセレクト。4thアルバム『BUTTERFLY』から取り入れ始めたストリングスや、5thアルバム『FRAGILE』から導入され始めたシンセサイザーなどの電子音色も健在。
