The story of Mobile Ops: The One Year War opens with the space colonists' brutal battle for independence from The Earth Federation. 《机动战士高达 特洛伊行动（Mobile Suit Gundam: Operation Troy）》是第一款公布的Xbox360高达游戏，是一款以“一年战争”战场为游戏舞台的第一人称射击游戏，在宽阔的舞台上士兵可以自由地更换高达机体。玩家在吉恩军和联邦军2种军势阵营下，分别有人类对机动战士、敌方基地攻入、敌方机动战士夺取等多种任务可以选择。并且将支持XBOX LIVE，这样说来也就是可以通过XBOX LIVE实现网络多人组队一起完成游戏中的任务，当然此作也支持语音聊天。《机动战士高达 特洛伊行动》是款以初代高达为题材的军事写实风 FPS，游戏中玩家将扮演联邦军或吉翁军的一介士兵，为了完成上级交付的任务而在战场上浴血奋战。
